Lecture Week 1 - 2021
12th April until 22nd April 2021, online
In the first lecture week we learned the basics of the following:
- General Relativity
- Quantum Mechanics
- Laser Interferometry
- Relativistic Geodesy
- Optical Clocks
- Data Analysis and Statistics
In total we had 20 lectures, each was of 45 minutes.

Lecture Week 2 - 2021
4th October until 8th October 2021, Hanover
The following topics were taught during this series of courses:
- Quantencomputing
- Relativistic Geodesy
- Satellite based earth gravity field observation for ocean climate studies
- Ifo (readout and noise)
- Science communication
In addition, laboratory visits and a trip to GEO600 took place.

Lecture Week 1 - 2022
8th May until 13th May 2022, Fintel
In addition to presentations of the work of young scientists and a field trip to ZARM in Bremen, the following overarching topics were covered in lecture blocks:
- Relativity
- Earth gravity field
- Interferometry
- Clocks(networks)

Lecture Week 2 - 2022
7th August until 12th August 2022, Soderstorf
As with all of our course series, our young scientists were again given the chance to present their own research. In addition, topics covered in lectures included:
- Aspects of gravitational waves
- Bayesian statistics
- statistical methods for data analysis of gravitational waves
- theoretical framework of relativistic geodesy
- quantum communication
- inertial sensing with cold atoms
- Bose-Einstein condensation
Another highlight was the visit to the ALPS DESY in Hamburg.

Lecture Week 3 - 2022
19th November until 24th November 2022, Bonn
The third course series of the year was conducted jointly with the Max Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy in Bonn and began with a visit to the Effelsberg radio telescope, the second largest fully mobile radio telescope on Earth with a diameter of 100 metres. Main topics were:
- Thermal Noise
- Signatures of Black Holes
- Stabilized High Power Lasers in GWDs
- Supermassive Black Holes in the Center of our Galaxy
- Testing Newtonian/Einsteinian gravitation
- Using Galactic-Scale Interferometers to Advance GW Science
- Low frequency laser interferometry

Lecture Week 1 - 2023
26th March until 31st March 2023, Fintel
Joint course week with ALPS DESY in Hamburg. As with all our course series, our young scientists were again given the chance to present their own research. In addition, the following topics, among others, were covered in lectures:
- Gravitational waves and their effect
- Optical Resonators
- Clocks and comparison of clocks
- Geodesy and height Systems
- Tensor Analysis in Special Relativity
- Curved Spacetime
- Sound Speed in Neutron Stars

Lecture Week 2 - 2023
18th June until 23rd June 2023, Neustadt am Rübenberge
The main topics of the second course series in 2023 were:
- Quantum Computing
- Pound Drever, Hall sensing, GWD length control
- Introduction to Gravitational Lensing
- Noise Sources in Gravitational Wave Detectors
- Linearized Gravitational Waves
- Relativistic Geodesy
In addition, the participants received a hands-on introduction to levelling at Steinhudermeer.
