APS Fellow 2021: Prof. Dr. Piet O. Schmidt

Congratulations!

On October 14th, 2021 Prof. Dr. Piet O. Schmidt was appointed as an American Physical Society (APS) Fellow. He receives the honoring for the development of quantum logic spectroscopy techniques and their application in pioneering high precision measurements of optical transitions in atoms, molecules, and highly charged ions. Congratulations on this great accomplishment!

Prof. Schmidt: "I am very honored and thank my enthusiastic group for their fantastic work and the support from DQ-mat, Quantum Frontiers, QVLS and others."
